30 months through Kindergarten eligible
This time in your child’s life is full of enormous strides.  Your child experiences an explosion of communication and conceptual thinking and their self and social skills flourish.  Lehigh Children’s Academy Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten programs offer a balance of structured individual and group activities and free play that sets your child on the path for educational success. Our Pre-Kindergarten program is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

• To enhance your child’s skills and prepare for Kindergarten, Lehigh Children’s Academy offers Development Centers, age appropriate experiences and exercises designed to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond, with the skills and confidence needed for a lifetime of academic success.  Your child will participate in activities and experiences in the areas of science, pre-math, reading-readiness, writing experiences, gross and fine motor skills, dramatic play, block play, creative and movement activities.

• At this age, your child begins to develop more intimate peer relationships, ask questions about the world around them and develop self-discipline and control.  Your child is provided many opportunities to develop social skills such as cooperating, helping, negotiating and talking with each others to solve problems.

• Your child is eager to investigate the workings of their expanding environment and experiment with their emerging sense of skills mastery and independence.  We provide a stimulating and safe environment for your child to begin this stage of discovery.

• Lehigh Children’s Academy curriculum aligns academic and developmental goals with families' expectations of educational excellence, helping your child grow into a confident student.  We share in your child’s achievement of educational and developmental milestones creating lasting impressions for a lifetime of learning.

• Each child in this program is treated as an individual, with a unique pattern of growth and development.  Your child is allowed to select many of their own activities from among a variety of Development Centers prepared by Lehigh Children’s Academy teachers.  Different levels of development and learning styles are considered and activities are designed to develop your child’s self-esteem and love of learning in a warm, secure environment.
