Lead Teachers
Lead Teachers are responsible for implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum which reflects the goals and observations of individual children, while maintaining a classroom environment that addresses the program goals and philosophy of Lehigh Children’s Academy. Facilitate and maintain positive communication with children, staff, parents and other providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood, elementary, or special education, or a related field with 30 early childhood education credits.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working with young children in early childhood or special education environment.
  • Knowledge of typical infant, toddler and preschool development.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to adhere to all required licensing regulations.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft office applications.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Standing, sitting lifting and walking required daily.

Associate Teachers
Associate Teachers are responsible for assisting lead teachers with activities and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum which reflects the goals and observations of individual children, while maintaining a classroom environment that addresses the program goals and philosophy of Lehigh Children’s Academy. Facilitate and maintain positive communication with children, staff, parents and other providers.

Requirements

  • Two year degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, or a related field with Early Childhood Education credits and/or two years’ experience working with children in an early childhood education environment.
  • Knowledge of typical infant/toddler/preschool development.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to adhere to all required licensing regulations.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft office applications.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Standing, sitting lifting and walking required daily.

Resource Teachers
Resource Teachers assists with various classrooms within the center. Assist Teachers with curriculum objectives and other activities being conducted in the classroom. May prepare lesson plans for classroom use.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working with young children in early childhood or special education environment.
  • Flexibility with Schedule.
  • Knowledge of typical infant/toddler/preschool development.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to adhere to all required licensing regulations.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft office applications.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Standing, sitting lifting and walking required daily.
